Description

Crystal clear in the glass. Bold, fruit-driven, and pure. Arsames is a mulberry spirit made from 100% Armenian white mulberries – no sugar, no additives, no grain alcohol. Crafted according to centuries-old tradition, distilled and bottled locally in an elegant 0.7L designer bottle. 45% ABV – neat, direct, unfiltered. Harvest takes place from June to July. The ripe berries are gently shaken from the trees, pressed fresh, and fermented in traditional clay vessels called karauschen. Slow fermentation and copper distillation preserve their natural sweetness, floral lift, and mineral depth. On the nose: juicy mulberries, rose petals, soft fig and a hint of white pepper. The palate is smooth, rich and vibrant. Clear fruit expression, rounded by a sun-kissed sweetness and subtle dryness. The finish is long, warm, slightly floral and dry. Best served neat and ice-cold in a small glass. Unconventional but rewarding in cocktails – paired with herbs, citrus or dry tonic. A distillate with origin, memory and soul. Nine kilos of fruit per bottle – pure Armenian sunshine in liquid form.
