Nikka Taketsuru 17 Years Old Pure Malt is one of the most celebrated Japanese blended malt whiskies and part of the prestigious Taketsuru series, named after Nikka’s founder Masataka Taketsuru – the pioneer of Japanese whisky making. This refined pure malt is crafted by marrying carefully selected single malts from Nikka’s two iconic distilleries: Yoichi and Miyagikyo. Each distillery contributes a distinct character, with Yoichi bringing structure and subtle smokiness, while Miyagikyo adds elegance, fruitiness and floral complexity. Matured in oak casks and bottled at 43% ABV, the 17-year-old expression is renowned for its remarkable balance and depth.
