On the nose I find chocolate brioche, mocha coffee, candied cherries and baking spices, delivering a surprisingly deep and expressive profile. The palate is rich, rounded and well-structured, showing coffee fudge, black cherry jam, toasted malt and dark molasses, while the stout cask brings a refined, slightly bitter edge that keeps everything in balance. The finish is medium-long and persistent, leaving echoes of dark chocolate, coffee and gentle spice. It is a boldly gastronomic, character-driven whisky that feels adventurous yet beautifully controlled — ideal for drinkers looking for something genuinely different without sacrificing clarity or quality.
