The Macallan No.6 is a luxurious celebration of natural colour and classic Macallan character. Part of the prestigious 1824 Masters Series, No.6 unites the art of whisky making with the exquisite crystal craftsmanship of Lalique. Presented in a beautifully sculpted crystal decanter, this exceptional single malt embodies richness, depth and refinement. Matured exclusively in first-fill sherry seasoned Spanish oak casks from Jerez de la Frontera – sourced from a single cooperage – the whisky derives its deep natural colour and bold personality from these handcrafted casks. The colour evokes a Spanish sunset. The nose reveals raisins, dates and figs, layered with sultanas and toffee apples, followed by dark chocolate, vanilla sweetness, dry ginger and soft cinnamon. On the palate, it is heavy and sumptuous, reminiscent of rich fruit cake with orange zest, nutmeg, cinnamon and hints of clove, supported by velvety oak. The finish is silky smooth, long and full. Bottled at 43% ABV, The Macallan No.6 is an iconic luxury Speyside single malt for collectors and connoisseurs of sherry cask maturation.
