Description
The secret is out. The unreleased Yamazaki of the evening is the Yamazaki Refill Spanish Oak Limited Release Edition 2026. You taste it on 29 October, before it officially reaches the shelves, led by Daniel Schöll. Matured in refill Spanish oak casks, distilled in 2014 and 2015, bottled at 48% ABV. On the nose, stewed apricot compote with cloves and nutmeg; on the palate, fresh cherries, dried figs, charred peach and cacao; on the finish, coffee and a touch of wood smoke. Alongside it, three cask samples you cannot buy anywhere, plus the 12 and 18 Year Old from Japan's oldest malt whisky distillery, founded in 1923.

Bus lines 53 and 153 stop directly in front of the Stemmerhof (Sendlinger Kirche), and lines 53, 132, N40 and N41 stop at Margaretenplatz, about 2 minutes away. Harras station (U6, S7 and BOB plus several bus lines) is about 5 minutes on foot, Implerstraße and Poccistraße (U3, U6) about 10 minutes. Street parking is available nearby.
