Slyrs Oktoberfest 2024 is a unique single malt whisky that embodies the spirit of Bavarian craftsmanship. After traditional aging, it spent an additional nine months in special beer casks from Bavarian craft breweries, infusing it with the rich flavors of the beers previously housed in them. The nose reveals candied citrus fruits, dark chocolate, and roasted coffee beans, accented by floral hops. On the palate, it offers a balanced sweetness with notes of ripe apples and pears, complemented by a deep malt character reminiscent of toasted bread, with subtle hints of caramel and vanilla. The finish is a harmonious blend of herbs and hops, delivering a fine, slightly bitter end that pays homage to its beer cask maturation. Bottled at 45% ABV and presented in a 700 ml bottle, this edition promises a true Bavarian delight.
