The WU DRAM CLAN, known for exceptional single casks and unique collaborations, brings their third Maker’s Mark Private Selection to Europe with Maker’s Mark 6 Years Old Private Selection Inferno Wu Dram Clan . Previously exclusive to the Asian market, “INFERNO” marks the clan’s first European release. Selected in December 2025 at the Maker’s Mark distillery in Loretto, Kentucky, this bourbon showcases a bespoke recipe crafted in collaboration with Maker’s Mark’s team.

Maturation & Flavor Profile

The “INFERNO” Private Selection is distinct for its exclusive use of French oak staves, emphasizing spice, roast, and structure over sweetness. Its composition includes:
• 2 × Seared French Cuvée
• 3 × Maker’s 46
• 3 × Roasted French Mocha
• 2 × Toasted French Spice
(with no American oak staves included)

After crafting the recipe, “INFERNO” underwent nine weeks of additional maturation in Maker’s Mark’s iconic Limestone Cellar. This final aging stage deepens the interaction between the bourbon and French oak staves, resulting in a darker, spicier, and more structured profile with pronounced roasted aromas, bittersweet chocolate, and warm spices.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Dark toffee, caramelized sugar, cocoa, roasted coffee, with warm spices and dark fruit
• Palate: Soft texture meets bitter chocolate, espresso, roasted notes, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, dark caramel, and French oak
• Finish: Long, warming, spicy with cocoa and a drying oak character

Release & Availability

Maker’s Mark 6 Years Old Private Selection Inferno Wu Dram Clan is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey aged over six years and bottled at 55.4% ABV. The release is limited to 270 bottles and features no coloring and is non-chill filtered. The RRP stands at €119.90. It becomes available on August 14, 2026, through the WU DRAM CLAN’s dealer network and is available via Spiritory.
