Torabhaig Unveils The Chicago Series for Delilah’s Whisky Bar

Torabhaig Distillery on the Isle of Skye has released a special trio of single malts as part of The Chicago Series, created to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of the iconic Chicago whiskey bar, Delilah’s. This exclusive series comprises three cask strength expressions distilled between 2018 and 2019 and bottled in April 2026, each matured in different new oak types to offer distinct profiles.

Maturation & Flavor Profile

Each bottling in Torabhaig 2019 Delilah'S 33 The Chicago Series New French Oak , Torabhaig 2018 Delilah'S 33 The Chicago Series New Scottish Oak , and Torabhaig 2018 Delilah'S 33 The Chicago Series New American Oak showcases its maturation in new oak casks sourced from French, Scottish, and American oak respectively. The oldest expression (March 7, 2018) matured in Scottish oak and bottled at 59.9% ABV. The second oldest (April 19, 2018) saw American oak casks and comes at 58.7% ABV. The youngest (May 23, 2019) matured in French oak with the highest strength at 64.2% ABV. This maturation approach delivers bold, robust profiles reflective of each wood type’s influence.

These limited-edition releases celebrate Delilah’s 33rd birthday and are currently available exclusively through Spiritory.
