Maturation & Flavor Profile

Each whisky spent 11 to 12 years in refill ex-bourbon casks, allowing a calm and steady maturation that preserved clarity and distillery character. Subsequent finishing periods varied by cask type for a layered aromatic experience: Linkwood in first-fill Madeira casks added elegant sweetness and depth; Teaninich’s two-year final maturation in first-fill PX sherry casks introduced dark fruit nuances and richness; Strathmill’s finishing in first-fill Moscatel sherry casks gave floral sweetness and fruity complexity. Together, these cask combinations produce a trio of robust yet refined single malts with characterful freshness and multi-dimensional profiles.

• Linkwood 13 Years:
Nose: Fruity and creamy with ripe peach, mango, beeswax, honey, white chocolate, apricot jam, and subtle red currants.
Palate: Creamy warmth with peach compote, melon, vanilla truffle, banoffee pie, almond croissant, and layered red fruits with gentle spice.
Finish: Long and warm, honey and caramel give way to dried fruits and dry nutty oak.

• Teaninich 13 Years:
Nose: Dark berry compote, raisins, candied orange peel, black cherry, with oily, grassy, and herbal notes underneath.
Palate: Full-bodied and oily, carrying plum jam, fig cream, cinnamon, clove, toffee, hazelnut, sage, green tea, white pepper, dark chocolate, orange peel, and tobacco.
Finish: Long and warming with dark fruits, spices, cocoa, hazelnut, and an oily character.

• Strathmill 13 Years:
Nose: Orange blossom, white grape juice, nougat, vanilla cream, fresh grass, honey sweetness, jasmine, and nectarine.
Palate: Full-bodied, oily texture with caramelized citrus peel, candied mandarin, dried apricot, almond pastry, nutty spices, ginger, white pepper, balanced by 55.1% ABV.
Finish: Medium to long, fading with floral notes, raisins, white chocolate, tobacco, and dry oak spice.
