Gordon & MacPhail Dram Takers Collection Vol. 2 features whiskies including the notably aged Glen Grant 1948/2022 and Glenlivet 1949/2023, both 74 years old, alongside expressions from Glenburgie (60 years), Longmorn (55 years), Teaninich (45 years), and Speyburn (44 years). The collection’s presentation carries an illustrated motif inspired by the Book of Kells, depicting “Dram Takers” sharing a glass and symbolizing shared appreciation.

The Talisker 1987/2026 is a 39-year-old island single malt bottled at 51.4% ABV cask strength, matured exclusively in a refill sherry butt (cask no. 22601101). Representing only 300 bottles, it is non chill-filtered and natural in color, paying tribute to George Urquhart’s vision of making rare whiskies accessible.

Maturation & Flavor Profile

The Dram Takers Collection bottlings have been patiently matured in Gordon & MacPhail’s own casks, mostly first fill or refill sherry casks, with some American oak influence as seen in the Longmorn 1966/2021 held in a refill American hogshead.
