Maturation & Flavor Profile

Peallach’s foundation is built on classic ex-bourbon cask maturation providing structure and balance. The whisky then spends a deliberate one-year finish in a 2nd fill Madeira barrique. This aging imparts a rich fruity tension that accentuates rather than softens the smoky peat. The result is an intense yet elegant whisky with a smoky core highlighted by spicy notes and a dark, fruity Madeira twist.
