Bottled at a robust 52.1% ABV, this limited edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky brings a fresh exploration of coastal character combined with the rich influence of port cask maturation. The release embodies the maritime heritage of Oban and its historic connection to port wine, promising a layered and expressive dram for collectors and whisky enthusiasts alike.

Maturation & Flavor Profile

This expression matures initially in American white oak hogsheads before receiving a finishing period in 100% American oak port wine casks. The cask finish draws on the historic seafaring trade link between the western Highlands and Porto, Portugal, infusing the whisky with red fruit richness and intricate, dry notes that complement Oban’s signature salinity and maritime character.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Fruity dry white wine, hints of raspberries and vanilla ice cream, with maritime notes of sea breeze and warm sand
• Palate: Soft, creamy-smooth texture featuring honeyed sweetness and juicy red fruits, evolving into gentle salinity and peppery spice
• Finish: Short to medium, dry finish with lingering white pepper
