Maturation & Flavor Profile

The whisky matured 10 years in a selection of four first-fill (liqueur) wine casks: ruby port barrique, Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry hogshead, Oloroso sherry hogshead, and red wine barrique. These casks impart a multifaceted character, balancing dirty peat smoke with deep fruity sweetness and delicate nutty nuances. Bottled at 50.2% ABV, non-chill filtered with natural color retained, this expression delivers a robust palate and rich aromatic profile typical of the Highlands.
