Maturation & Flavor Profile

The Cask Partnership Series exemplifies refined aging techniques with each release featuring unique cask finishes from renowned wine and spirit producers worldwide. The Glen Moray 8 Years Old 2017 is distinguished by a four-year finish in Pedro Ximénez sherry barriques from Bodega Ximénez-Spínola, imparting notable depth and complexity. The Caol Ila 8 Years Old 2018 benefits from a maturation in American oak casks that previously held Tawny Port from Portugal's Douro Valley, blending Islay peat with port wine sweetness. The Linkwood 8 Years Old 2017 spent its final three years in Madeira casks from Justino’s house, infusing tropical fruit and nutty richness. The Benrinnes 9 Years Old 2016 engaged in a transatlantic maturation with a Koval Bourbon cask finish that enhances the Speyside profile with intense wood interaction in smaller cask volumes.

The new Osprey series begins with the Glentauchers 15 Years Old, matured in classic bourbon casks whose American white oak lends bright, creamy malt character with lively citrus and vanilla notes at a milder 46% ABV.

• Glen Moray 8 Years Old 2017: Nose of intense fruity sweetness with hazelnuts, dried dates, and ripe red berries; palate delivers creamy malt balanced with dry spice and sherry sweetness; finish rich and layered.
