Unlike the rare Carta Nautica 1987, this expression is released without an age statement and features an alcohol content of 43% ABV, signaling a potentially more accessible offering for whisky enthusiasts.

Maturation & Flavor Profile

This single malt draws character from maturation in a mix of seasoned American oak sherry casks and former bourbon casks, some of which have been subsequently seasoned with sherry. This blend of cask types promises a balance of rich sherried influence and lighter bourbon cask notes.
