The Macallan Closes The Harmony Collection with Its Fresh Coconut Chapter

The Macallan has released the fifth and final edition of The Harmony Collection, Inspired by Fresh Coconut. The whisky was created alongside the TimeSpirit Dining Experience, the permanent dining concept the distillery runs at The Macallan Estate with the team behind El Celler de Can Roca. The Macallan The Harmony Collection Inspired by Fresh Coconut is now available on Spiritory.

Design & Presentation

The presentation box carries the coconut theme through to its material. The Macallan describes it as an innovative material made from recycled coconut fibre, reflecting the distillery's ongoing focus on sustainable packaging. The box also carries a flavor map of the whisky's key notes, tropical fruit, fresh coconut, vanilla, sweet oak and lime, set against The Harmony Collection's signature dark label design.

Maturation & Flavor Profile

The whisky is matured in a combination of sherry seasoned American oak casks and casks that previously held bourbon, then bottled at 46.3% ABV.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Fresh coconut and zesty lime, citrus notes of lemon and orange, tropical hints of mango and papaya, finishing with vanilla, almond, sweet oak and a touch of nutmeg and cinnamon.
• Palate: Sweet lime and lemon, vanilla sponge cake with dried coconut, icing sugar and coconut milk, sweet oak and dried tropical fruits.
