Maturation & Flavor Profile

This whisky spent eleven years maturing initially in ex-Madeira casks from Justinos, imparting a rich red glow and aromatic depth. It then received an eight-month finish in ex-Isle of Skye casks, lending coastal and moorland character reflective of the legendary Avalon. Bottled at 52.8% ABV, this single cask malt balances fruity sweetness with mineral spice and a subtle salty influence, a maturation profile that stands out for complexity and elegance.

• Nose: Sweet honey and floral notes reminiscent of a freshly mown flower meadow, enriched by an intense mineral spice from the cask influence.
