Kiyokawa The Cask 50 cl is Kiyokawa Distillery’s inaugural single malt, launched on March 19th at the historic Fujiya Gohonjin restaurant in Nagano, established in 1648. This release marks an important milestone for the distillery, showcasing its commitment to traditional Japanese craftsmanship combined with local ingredients.
Maturation & Flavor Profile
Crafted entirely from 100% self-grown barley cultivated by Kiyokawa’s own farmers adjacent to the distillery, this whisky enjoys maturation in a former Pedro-Ximénez sherry cask. The result is a cask strength bottling at 61.1% ABV, presenting a rich and concentrated flavor profile reflective of its Nagano heritage.
Release & Availability
Limited to 398 bottles, Kiyokawa The Cask 50 cl retails at $319.99 and is available exclusively through Spiritory. This distinctive release offers collectors and enthusiasts a rare glimpse into Kiyokawa’s nascent whisky journey.
