Kilchoman 11 Years Old Rockside marks a significant addition to the Kilchoman Distillery’s lineup, crafted entirely from barley grown on their own Rockside Farm. This new permanent Core Range release succeeds the previous "100% Islay" series by offering an 11-year-old single malt that highlights the local terroir of Islay. By drawing exclusively on home-grown barley, Kilchoman deepens its farm-to-bottle philosophy, placing Rockside 11 alongside flagship expressions like Machir Bay and Sanaig.

Maturation & Flavor Profile

Lightly peated to around 20 ppm, this 11-year-old whisky is matured in a combination of Bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. The dual cask maturation results in a balanced profile, marrying gentle smoke with tropical fruit notes, citrus sweetness, and subtle spice. This expression exemplifies a refined Islay character with a farm-local identity underscored by its fully source-grown barley.
