Jura Distillery celebrates this year’s Islay Festival of Music and Malt with two distinct single malt bottlings: Jura 16 Years Old Fèis Ìle 2026 and Jura 24 Years Old 40th Anniversary Release . Both releases honour the festival’s spirit with exclusive maturation techniques and rich flavour profiles, offering whisky enthusiasts a refined taste of Jura’s craftsmanship.

Maturation & Flavor Profile

Jura 16 Years Old Fèis Ìle 2026 spent 16 years maturing initially in second-fill bourbon casks before being finished for 18 months in a single 400-liter Armagnac cask. This cask strength expression is bottled at 55.3% ABV.

Conversely, Jura 24 Years Old 40th Anniversary Release commemorates the festival’s 40th anniversary with a liquid aged for 24 years. It matured initially in refill bourbon casks followed by a finishing period in a single Sauternes barrique. This expression is bottled at 48.8% ABV.

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Jura 16 Years Old Fèis Ìle 2026 reveals apricot, dark chocolate, apple calendula, and a hint of bittersweet black licorice. Jura 24 Years Old 40th Anniversary Release offers aromas of citrus peel, ripe apricot, pineapple, beeswax, and subtle mineral nuances.

• Palate: The 16-year-old presents hazelnut, fresh and dried stone fruits, rustic dunnage warehouse notes, alongside farmhouse saison beer, apple crumble, dried figs, and prunes. The 24-year-old balances freshly baked brioche, lemon balm, peach, and a fine vanilla note.
