The Jura Distillery on its namesake Scottish island introduces a new sherry cask finish series, beginning with the Jura 12 Years Old Oloroso Edition . This 12-year-old single malt is bottled at 46% ABV, with no added coloring or chill filtration, emphasizing natural character and purity.

The packaging showcases Andalusian ornamental tile motifs, reflecting the Spanish influence inherent to sherry cask maturation. This design choice visually ties Jura’s island heritage to Mediterranean tradition.

Maturation & Flavor Profile

Initially matured in bourbon barrels, the whisky is then finished in a blend of Oloroso sherry casks made from European and American oak. This dual-cask approach imparts nuanced complexity with notes of prune, caramelized walnut, and dried citrus.
