Glenmorangie 30 Years Old introduces Glenmorangie's oldest core range whisky to date. Crafted by Dr. Bill Lumsden MBE, this 30-year-old single malt merges decades of maturation with refined cask influence, offering whisky enthusiasts and collectors a notable expression from the renowned Highland distillery.

Maturation & Flavor Profile

This whisky spent over 15 years in classic bourbon casks before being finished in red wine casks from Burgundy for a significant portion of its maturation—two-thirds of the selected casks underwent this finishing process. The result is a balanced spirit where richer, fruity flavors interplay with Glenmorangie's characteristic elegance. Bottled at 43% ABV, it reflects a layered complexity shaped by both bourbon and red wine casks.

Master Blender’s Statement

Dr. Bill Lumsden describes the whisky as “a celebration of age and imagination, 30 years in the making.” He highlights “unexpected aromas of raspberries and cherries” that lead into “tastes of ripe peach and candied orange, cut through by leather and spice,” emphasizing the blend of rich fruit and signature style achieved through patient maturation.

Design & Presentation

The Thirty is housed in a purple box inspired by the facets of Burgundy wine, accented with copper elements representing Glenmorangie's distinctive tall stills. This presentation echoes the whisky’s refined cask influence and long heritage.

Release & Availability

Glenmorangie 30 Years Old will be available at the end of the month through Spiritory. It carries an approximate price of 850 euros for a 700ml bottle, marking it as a premium addition to any single malt collection.
