Glenfarclas Celebrates 190 Years with a Limited Edition Single Malt

To mark its 190th anniversary, the family-run Glenfarclas Distillery has unveiled Glenfarclas 190th Anniversary Limited Edition , a special release that encapsulates a rich heritage. This limited edition single malt draws from whiskies matured across five decades, paying homage to Glenfarclas’ enduring legacy in Speyside whisky production.

Maturation & Flavor Profile

This release highlights the distinctive character of each era: the fruitier notes from the 1970s, intense sherry aromas characteristic of the 1980s and 1990s, and the toffee and caramel flavors derived from casks laid down in the 2000s. Bottled at approximately 51.4% ABV (90 British Proof), the whisky is presented without chill filtration or added coloring, preserving its natural integrity.

Release & Availability

Limited to 15,000 bottles worldwide, Glenfarclas 190th Anniversary Limited Edition will be released in August 2026 at an SRP of £95. Collectors and enthusiasts can secure this milestone expression exclusively through Spiritory.
