These limited editions offer whisky enthusiasts intense, full-flavored expressions at high ABVs.
Maturation & Flavor Profile
The Glasgow 1770 Cask Strength The Original 75 cl Batch Nr.3 is crafted from unpeated malted barley initially matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks before being finished in heavily charred American White Oak (Virgin Oak) casks from Kelvin Cooperage. It comes in at 60% ABV with only 750 bottles available.
The Glasgow 1770 Cask Strength Peated 100 cl Batch Nr.3 offers a peat-driven profile with mainland peat from Aberdeenshire at 50 ppm phenolic content. After maturing in the same Virgin Oak casks, it undergoes an extended finish in Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks, bottled at 61% ABV. This batch is limited to 1,000 bottles.
