Dram Mor Spring Release 2026: Seven Single-Cask Whiskies

Dràm Mòr Spring Release 2026 Showcases a Spectrum of Single Cask Whisky Excellence

The Dràm Mòr Spring Release 2026 features a captivating ensemble of seven distinct bottlings handpicked by Viktorija and Kenny MacDonald. This diverse collection spans several Scottish whisky regions from the Isle of Skye through the Highlands, Speyside, and Campbeltown, highlighting a variety of maturation styles from refill and first-fill bourbon casks to richly flavored Palo Cortado and Oloroso sherry cask finishes. Each expression embodies personality and depth, appealing to collectors and new enthusiasts alike.

Maturation & Flavor Profile

The range includes whiskies matured in a variety of cask types, enhancing their complexity:
• Sherry cask finishes include the 1st fill Palo Cortado Sherry Hogshead used for the Balmenach 10 Years Old 2015 Dràm Mòr Cask Nr.549 and the Oloroso Sherry Hogshead for the Dalmunach 9 Years Old 2016 Dràm Mòr Cask Nr.887 and Glen Moray 11 Years Old 2011 Dràm Mòr Cask Nr.158 . The Pulteney 18 Years Old 2008 Decanter Dràm Mòr Cask Nr.084 also benefits from a 1st fill Oloroso Sherry Quarter Cask finish.
• Bourbon cask maturation plays a central role in expressions such as the Dailuaine 11 Years Old 2015 Dràm Mòr Cask Nr.300972 finished in a 1st fill Elijah Craig bourbon barrel, and the Torabhaig 7 Years Old 2018 Dràm Mòr Cask Nr.1163 matured in a 1st fill bourbon barrel.
• The Campbeltown blended malt at cask strength 57.2% enjoys maturation in a refill bourbon barrel to balance vibrant coastal influences.

This spring release offers a masterful interplay between sherry richness and bourbon sweetness across Scotland’s whisky regions.
