Douglas Laing Unveils Four Distinct Single Cask Whiskies for Summer
Douglas Laing expands its portfolio with four new Single Cask whiskies that highlight the diversity of Scotch whisky regions and cask influences. This release features a blend of rare and mature expressions including a Mannochmore 9 Years Old Provenance Douglas Laing , a Auchentoshan 10 Years Old Douglas Laing , a 21-year-old Single Grain, and a Secret Distillery 28 Years Old 1998 World Cup Edition Douglas Laing celebrated as the WM Edition for its 1998 distillation year commemorating Scotland’s last World Cup participation.
The Mannochmore 9 Years Old Provenance is a Speyside Single Malt matured in a refill hogshead, delivering fresh fruity notes and subtle spice at 46% ABV. Its non-chill filtered, natural presentation is limited to 330 bottles worldwide. The elegant Auchentoshan 10 Years Old features a Lowland profile with aromas of dried apricots and vanilla oak, released at 48.4% ABV with 298 bottles available.
The 21 Years Old Old Particular Fanatical About Flavour is a Single Grain matured in a PX-sherry cask, bottled at cask strength 58.3% ABV, layered with rich molasses, red currants, and nutty sweetness across just 240 bottles. Meanwhile, the Secret Distillery 28 Years Old 1998 World Cup Edition, a mature Speyside single malt aged in an ex-bourbon cask, stands out with its cask strength of 54.3% ABV, offering complex notes of dried fruit and baking spices in a 222-bottle limited release.
