Bruichladdich Unveils Laddie Crew Casks 2026 with New German Member

Bruichladdich continues its tradition of innovation and craft with the release of three limited-edition single casks in the Laddie Crew Casks 2026 series. Rooted deeply in Islay’s whisky heritage since 1881, Bruichladdich distinguishes itself through unique barley varieties and diverse cask maturations. This year, the German Laddie Crew welcomes Delia’s Whisky Shop in Kaiserslautern as its ninth member, further strengthening connections between the distillery and specialized retailers.

Maturation & Flavor Profile

Each expression in this collection reflects Bruichladdich’s experimental spirit. The three whiskies saw maturation in first-fill casks from exquisite wine regions: a Sauternes cask for the 12-year-old, a Pineau de Charentes cask for the 10-year-old, and a Ribera Del Duero cask for the 9-year-old. These casks impart distinctive aromatic profiles and complexity, all bottled at cask strength ranging from 60.5% to 62.6% ABV, emphasizing intensity and character.

Release & Availability

• Bruichladdich 12 Years Old 2013 Cask Nr.0889 : 12 years old, distilled in 2013, matured in 1st fill Sauternes cask, 60.5% ABV, 210 bottles, priced at €129.

• Bruichladdich 10 Years Old 2014 Cask Nr.0060 : 10 years old, distilled in 2014, matured in 1st fill Pineau de Charentes cask, 62.6% ABV, 247 bottles, priced at €129.

• Bruichladdich 9 Years Old 2015 Cask Nr.7142 : 9 years old, distilled in 2015, matured in 1st fill Ribera Del Duero cask, 61.2% ABV, 204 bottles, priced at €129.

These bottlings will be available exclusively through the Laddie Crew’s German specialist retailers from April 1, 2026.
