Ardbeg Unveils New Packaging Design for Its Core Range

Ardbeg has confirmed that its best known whiskies are getting a new look. The distillery is rolling out a full packaging and label redesign across its core range, starting with Ardbeg Ten. The news was shared first with Ardbeg Committee members, the distillery's dedicated fan club, before wider release.

Design and Presentation

The new design keeps each bottle's familiar green glass, black Celtic knotwork cap and gold Ardbeg crest on the shoulder. What changes is the artwork. Ardbeg says every new design tells more of the story behind the whisky inside, with fresh details, tasting cues and small hidden touches built into the label and box art for each expression.

What Stays the Same

Same whisky, new look, rolling out gradually across the whole Ardbeg core range.

The recipe inside every bottle is unchanged. Ardbeg has confirmed this is a packaging update only, not a reformulation of the whisky itself.

Release and Availability

The redesigned packaging will reach shelves gradually over the coming months. The core range getting the new look includes Ardbeg Ten, Ardbeg An Oa, Ardbeg Uigeadail, Ardbeg Corryvreckan and Ardbeg Wee Beastie.

What's Next

Ardbeg has also teased a new expression joining the range, still unnamed. The distillery describes it only as a bewitchingly smoky dram with a creamy, harmonious character. No release date or further detail has been shared yet.
