Bowmore and Aston Martin have unveiled the final masterpiece of their prestigious ARC Series: Bowmore ARC-54. This extraordinary 54-year-old single malt whisky marks the pinnacle of their creative partnership and is now available in Germany. Inspired by the futuristic design of the Aston Martin Valkyrie Hypercar, this rare release combines advanced design with artisanal whisky making, limited to just 130 bottles worldwide.

This release celebrates craftsmanship and innovation at the highest level, capturing the essence of Islay and Aston Martin's relentless pursuit of perfection.

Design and Presentation: A Sculptural Statement

Each ARC-54 is housed in a hand-blown decanter that echoes the aerodynamic form of the Aston Martin Valkyrie. From the flowing lines inspired by Venturi tunnels to the natural curves of Islay’s landscapes, the design showcases the synergy of form and function. As Marek Reichman, Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer of Aston Martin, notes:

"By replacing airflow with liquid movement, we created a dynamic form that reflects Bowmore’s spirit."

This decanter not only embodies innovation but also frames the whisky within — enhancing its shimmering, golden hues.

Maturation and Flavor Profile: A 54-Year-Old Masterpiece

Distilled in 1968, Bowmore ARC-54 matured for more than five decades in a combination of 2nd fill European oak sherry butt and 3rd fill American oak hogshead casks. This long maturation delivers a complex and multi-layered experience, with a perfect interplay of fruity sweetness, refined spices, and the signature whisper of Islay peat smoke.

Chief Blender Dr. Calum Fraser emphasizes:
