A Limited-Edition Masterpiece from the Heart of the Highlands

Blair Athol Distillery proudly announces the release of the Blair Athol 20 Year Old, a remarkable limited-edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky that showcases the distillery’s dedication to tradition and innovation. With only 1002 bottles available, this whisky will first be released on April 1st, 2025.

Elegant Presentation and Distinctive Craftsmanship

Encased in a refined bottle that reflects the Highland distillery’s heritage, Blair Athol 20 Year Old boasts an elegant design that mirrors its luxurious character. The polished brass hue of the liquid is accentuated by the classic yet modern packaging, making it a true collector’s item.

Innovative Four-Cask Maturation

This 20-year-old expression has been matured in refill casks and finished in a combination of classic rejuvenated casks, wine-seasoned American oak, wine-seasoned European oak, and additional refill casks. This unique cask innovation enhances the whisky’s depth, bringing forward a symphony of flavors that beautifully balance fruit, spice, and creamy sweetness.

Master Blender Stuart Morrison describes this release as a testament to Blair Athol’s craftsmanship: “This exceptional bottling blends Blair Athol’s signature nutty spice with layers of fruit, vanilla, and aromatic wood. It honors the past while embracing the future.”

Complex and Captivating Tasting Notes

Appearance: Polished brass with rich amber and orange highlights.
Nose: Mellow with aromatic notes of green grapes, ripe papaya, and mango, alongside subtle milk chocolate and sweet fondant hints.
Body: Medium to full.
Palate: A creamy texture with crisp fruit flavors, warming spices of ginger cake and Christmas pudding, and a delicate balance of sweetness.
Finish: Long, warming, and glowing with lingering spice, leaving a pleasant tingle on the tongue.

Exclusive Launch Even

The official launch event for Blair Athol 20 Year Old will take place on April 11th, 2025, at the distillery. Guests will enjoy a guided tasting led by whisky expert Charles MacLean, innovation lead Dani McCann, and private client director Tod Bradbury. The experience will be enhanced with gourmet canapés and live music by Shaun Lowrey.
