Edition 1 debuts with a focus on sherry-cask influence at natural cask strength (56.2% ABV), non-chill filtered and not coloured—a profile aimed at whisky purists seeking an authentic single malt experience and clear, mobile-friendly tasting notes in a limited edition release.

Design & Presentation The presentation centres on purity and transparency: bottled at natural cask strength, with no chill filtration and natural colour clearly stated—signals that the whisky is delivered without cosmetic adjustment. These choices align with A’bunadh’s reputation among enthusiasts for robust, sherry-led character.

Maturation & Flavor Profile Departing from the original A’bunadh approach of 100% first-fill sherry maturation, the Sherry Cask Collection introduces a secondary maturation concept that will vary across future releases. Edition 1 is finished in a mix of Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez (PX) sherry casks, designed to push depth, sweetness, and spice.
