Westward 10 Years Old 2016 Single Barrel Cask Strength Cask Nr.B-368-16 75cl

Description

Westward 10 Years Old 2016 Single Barrel Cask Strength Cask Nr.B-368-16 75cl is an American single malt from Portland, Oregon, distilled in 2016 from locally malted two row barley fermented with ale yeast, double distilled in low reflux pot stills and matured in a heavily toasted, lightly charred new American oak barrel. Drawn from Cask Nr.B-368-16 for the True Northwest Single Barrel Selection, it is bottled at cask strength at 69% ABV (138 proof). The nose moves from autumn forest, dense oak and earthy spice to mango, coconut oil, cacao nibs, quince jam, persimmon and candied orange peel; the oily palate is strikingly tropical, with powerful oak that never turns bitter.
