The Tobermory 20 Years Old 1994 Sansibar is a remarkably rare island single malt that showcases the elegant, unpeated house style of Tobermory at full maturity. Distilled in 1994 and bottled after 20 years of aging by Sansibar, this release is limited to just 124 bottles at 49.6% ABV. The nose is refined and expressive, revealing malt, spelt biscuits and white chocolate, alongside light wine notes, bitter lemon, candied grapefruit, citrus zest and nutmeg. On the palate, the whisky is creamy and gently sweet, with chocolate tones interwoven with citrus, tonic water, blood orange, white pepper and bitter almond. The finish is balanced between sweetness and gentle bitterness, lightly peppery with a subtle caramel note. A sophisticated and highly collectible Island malt for connoisseurs of mature Scotch whisky.
