Its polished oak colour reflects decades of patient maturation in European oak. This extraordinary release pays tribute to the legendary Scottish architect and artist Charles Rennie Mackintosh, whose lifelong connection to nature inspired the iconic Tree of Life design. The Lalique crystal decanter is encased in an intricate European oak sculpture, echoing Mackintosh’s decorative metalwork and symbolising a tree reaching toward the sun. The wooden rings represent the passage of time, mirroring the growth rings of a tree and the careful aging of The Macallan single malt. Accompanied by a commissioned poem celebrating art, poetry and renewal, Tree of Life is more than a rare whisky – it is a collector’s masterpiece blending heritage, artistry and 46 years of maturation.
