Description
The secret is out. The unreleased Yamazaki of the evening is the Yamazaki Refill Spanish Oak Limited Release Edition 2026. You taste it on 29 October, before it officially reaches the shelves, led by Daniel Schöll. Matured in refill Spanish oak casks, distilled in 2014 and 2015, bottled at 48% ABV. On the nose, stewed apricot compote with cloves and nutmeg; on the palate, fresh cherries, dried figs, charred peach and cacao; on the finish, coffee and a touch of wood smoke. Alongside it, three cask samples you cannot buy anywhere, plus the 12 and 18 Year Old from Japan's oldest malt whisky distillery, founded in 1923.

The evening centres on the new Glenfarclas Christmas Edition 2026, which arrives as the 30th Anniversary Edition. Be among the first to taste it, guided by the Glenfarclas team. Beside it stands the 190th Anniversary Limited Edition, with which the distillery celebrates 190 years. It was drawn from 78 sherry casks spanning five decades of distillate and closes the Anniversary Trilogy after Glenfarclas 175 and 185. They are joined by the classics, the 12, 15 and 17 Years Old, and the Vintage 2012 from The Trinity Vintage Series in its red tin, matured in Oloroso sherry casks. Glenfarclas has belonged to the Grant family since 1865 and still distils in direct-fired stills. Six bottlings, one evening at Spiritory Shop Munich, with the new Christmas edition as the highlight.

Taste the new Boynsmill House Edition, made to mark 200 years of Glendronach, a tribute to the building that has stood at the heart of the distillery since 1826. Alongside it: Ode to the Dark and Ode to the Embers, two of Glendronach's "Ode" releases, and the newly redesigned 21 Years Old Sherry Cask Matured in its 2025 packaging. The evening also covers the core range, the 15 and 18 Years Old, hosted by the Glendronach team at Spiritory Shop Munich. Every bottle poured tonight, you can buy again elsewhere.
