Description

Sipsmith VJOP is distilled at the same Hammersmith copper pot distillery as Sipsmith's London Dry Gin, using double the quantity of juniper berries. The name stands for Very Junipery Over Proof, reflecting a three part juniper process in which the berries are macerated for three days, added again to the pot still and finally vapour infused. Pine and cedarwood lead on the nose with a touch of zesty orange, before the palate delivers bold juniper, rich spice and dark chocolate through to a long, dry finish. Bottled at 57.7% ABV, it is Sipsmith's most juniper forward and highest proof expression.
