Lucky & Punch are the first whiskies by Michael Mittermeier: two single cask single malts from St. Kilian Distillers in Rüdenau, Franconia, named after his comedy club Lucky Punch. Each whisky is limited to 500 bottles of 500 ml, and both are available exclusively on Spiritory. Preorders open on 14 October 2026 at 11:00 CEST.

What Is Lucky & Punch?
Lucky & Punch is an edition of two single casks that Michael Mittermeier chose himself at St. Kilian. He travelled to the warehouse in Rüdenau, tasted from cask to cask and settled on a pair that could hardly be more different: one cask shaped by sweet Moscatel de Setúbal from Portugal, the other by heavy peat and Tawny Port.
The name comes from Lucky Punch, the comedy club Michael Mittermeier has run with his wife Gudrun in Munich and Vienna since 2023. For his whiskies he split it in two: Lucky for the softer, sweeter cask, Punch for the cask that hits harder. Neither whisky is coloured or chill filtered.
St. Kilian Lucky by Michael Mittermeier 50cl
St. Kilian Lucky by Michael Mittermeier 50cl comes from Cask Nr.9394, a former Moscatel de Setúbal cask. Distilled in July 2022, it was bottled as a single cask at 46.7 % vol and is limited to 500 bottles of 500 ml.
- Nose: floral and vinous notes, fresh orange, dried fruit, caramelised walnuts, honey and toffee, with creamy vanilla
- Palate: soft, round and balanced, honeyed sweetness and fruit give way to creamy toffee and fine nutty notes
- Finish: long, with vanilla, sweet toffee and caramelised walnuts
Lucky is the place to start if you like your whisky sweet and fruity.
St. Kilian Punch by Michael Mittermeier 50cl
St. Kilian Punch by Michael Mittermeier 50cl comes from Cask Nr.5914, a former Tawny Port cask, and is heavily peated at 80 ppm. Distilled in November 2020, it was bottled as a single cask at 48.3 % vol and is also limited to 500 bottles of 500 ml.
- Nose: red fruit and ripe figs, gentle oak spice and a hint of cinnamon
- Palate: creamy and full bodied, ashy smoke settles over the fruity, spicy notes without covering them
- Finish: long, with dark chocolate and well integrated smoke
Punch is the whisky for anyone looking for smoke and depth.
The Set: Lucky & Punch Together
The St. Kilian Lucky & Punch by Michael Mittermeier Set brings both single casks together: one bottle of Lucky and one bottle of Punch, 2 × 500 ml in total. It is the choice for anyone who wants to taste the two casks side by side, sweet against smoky, and for collectors who want the complete edition. The sets come out of the 500 bottles of each cask.

Preorder, Pick Up or Have It Delivered
Preorders open on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, at 11:00 CEST. When you order, you choose how to receive your bottle:
- Pickup at the Spiritory Shop: order up to and including 16 October and choose pickup, and you collect your bottle at the whisky unveiling on 23 October, signed by Michael Mittermeier in person.
- Home delivery: shipping starts on 26 October 2026. Spiritory delivers to 11 European countries.
Whisky Unveiling on 23 October in Munich
The Lucky & Punch whisky unveiling takes place on Friday, 23 October 2026, from 5:00 pm at the Spiritory Shop, Stemmerhof, Plinganserstraße 6, 81369 Munich, Germany. Michael Mittermeier will be there in person and signs the preordered bottles as well as the bottles on sale in the shop that evening. Only a limited number of those are available, so a preorder is the sure way to a signed bottle.
About Michael Mittermeier and St. Kilian
Michael Mittermeier, born in 1966 in Dorfen, Upper Bavaria, is one of Germany's best known comedians. He has won the German Comedy Award six times and shares his favourite drams in his video podcast "Mittermeiers Whisky Montag". Lucky & Punch are his first whiskies.
St. Kilian Distillers was founded in 2012 in Rüdenau, Lower Franconia, and describes itself as Germany's largest whisky distillery. Under master distiller Mario Rudolf it follows the Scottish tradition and has won many awards, among them "Distillery of the Year" 2023 at the World Spirits Award.
