Royal Salute 25 Years VIP Cask PX Hogshead Finish is an exceptional luxury Scotch blended whisky that celebrates royal heritage and masterful blending. Originally created in 1953 to mark the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, Royal Salute has since been dedicated to commemorating significant moments in British royal history. This exclusive private bottling was released specifically for the Czech Republic and comes from one of the 21 casks made available for the first time, personally overseen by Master Blender Sandy Hyslop. Aged for 25 years and bottled at natural cask strength of 50.9% ABV, this blended malt spent an additional two years finishing in a first fill Pedro Ximénez hogshead, adding remarkable depth and richness. On the nose, aromas of homemade currant jam, ripe plums with cinnamon and subtle nuttiness emerge. The palate reveals dark chocolate, red apples, dark berries and golden syrup, leading into a long, warming and gently spicy finish. A truly rare collector’s whisky, combining royal legacy, limited availability and opulent sherry-driven character.
