Rémy Martin Louis XIII Black Pearl 37.5 cl is one of the rarest and most dazzling cognac releases ever made – a limited edition crafted to celebrate the 140th anniversary of Louis XIII. For this extraordinary bottling, a single tierçon from the Hériard Dubreuil family’s private cellars was selected, with only 775 decanters released worldwide. The cognac is a blend of more than 1,200 eaux-de-vie from Grande Champagne, some aged between 40 and 100 years, creating a profile of unparalleled depth and refinement. The nose reveals apricot, yellow raisin, pear, honey, saffron, oak and incense, expanding within minutes to notes of wildflowers, stone fruits and honeycrisp apples. On the palate, a single drop bursts with layers of orchard fruit, oak, creamy honey, leather, spice, chocolate, fig, mint and a lingering, vibrant finish. The stunning Baccarat decanter features ultra-thin layers of titanium, carbon and gold, echoing the original metal flask discovered in 1850 that inspired the iconic Louis XIII design.
