Pilz Pomona 50cl

Description

Pilz Pomona 50cl is a limited single malt from the Hamburg based Pilz Whisky, matured in an ex Bourbon cask and finished in a cider cask, bottled at 50% ABV. The nose and palate offer ripe apples, fresh apple skin, fine citrus notes, and a subtle natural sweetness with juicy pear, hints of apple compote, a pleasant dry fruitiness, and a malty base. Only 79 numbered bottles of 500 ml were released, each drawn directly from the cask without chill filtration or added color. The result is a fruity, cider influenced dram with a malty backbone.
