Penelope Cooper Series Madagascar Batch 01 75cl

Description

Penelope Cooper Series Madagascar Batch 01 75cl is a straight bourbon from the Cooper Series, the Penelope collection devoted to the art of cask finishing. Built on the brand's signature Four Grain Straight Bourbon Whiskey, distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana from 74% corn, 16% wheat, 7% rye and 3% malted barley, it matures for about four years, then spends three to four months in Cognac casks and is bottled non chill filtered at 99 proof (49.5% ABV). Vanilla bean, brown sugar and candied citrus lead on the nose; the palate brings caramel, peanut, cinnamon and vanilla wafer, and the finish closes on candied fruit, slight spice and marshmallow.
