Penderyn Rich Oak

Description

Penderyn Rich Oak is a Welsh single malt whisky from the distillery in the Brecon Beacons National Park, matured in rejuvenated European ex wine casks, bottled at 46.0% ABV with no age statement, and not chill filtered. On the nose, it offers dark chocolate fudge, cinnamon and pepper, and tropical fruit notes of mango, banana, and green apple; the palate is full bodied and creamy with vanilla, nutty toffee, and oak spice, leading to a long lasting finish of vanilla and sweet toffee. The result is a rich, wine cask driven dram with a creamy, spicy character.
