Orphan Barrel 20 Years Old Latverian Cask 75cl

Description

Orphan Barrel 20 Years Old Latverian Cask 75cl is the first American Light Whiskey from Diageo's Orphan Barrel, a once only release inspired by Marvel Studios' Avengers: Doomsday and named for Latveria, the nation ruled by Doctor Doom. Distilled in Indiana from a predominantly corn mash bill, it rested for at least 20 years, mainly in Kentucky, in previously used bourbon and rye barrels and multiuse barrels before bottling at 46% ABV under a label illustrated by Marvel artist Rod Reis. Caramel and sweet vanilla lead to honey, butterscotch, orange peel and oak, closing warm with creamy vanilla and dried fruit, while one in six bottles carries a holographic label.
