Octomore 16.2 is a captivating edition from the Bruichladdich distillery, peated to 101.4 ppm and matured for five years. Initially aged in a mix of Oloroso and Bordeaux casks, it was finished in Madeira and Portuguese Moscatel during its final year. Bottled at a bold 58.1% ABV, it reveals layers of caramelised sugar, roasted nuts, dried fruits, and candied citrus peel, all interwoven with sweet peat smoke and maritime freshness.
