Louis Roederer Brut Nature Rosé 2015 by Starck is a pure, terroir-driven rosé champagne with zero dosage, combining precision, energy, and depth. Created in collaboration with Philippe Starck, this cuvée reflects Louis Roederer’s minimalist and uncompromising style. The grapes come from the prestigious Cumières terroir in the Marne Valley, with Pinot Noir forming the backbone of the blend, complemented by Chardonnay and Meunier for harmony and elegance. A portion of the wine was vinified in oak, adding structure and complexity, while avoiding malolactic fermentation preserves its natural tension. The hot, dry 2015 vintage delivered concentrated fruit with remarkable freshness. In the glass, the champagne shows a vibrant salmon-pink hue with fine, persistent bubbles. The nose reveals aromas of red berries, cherry, pomegranate, and citrus, alongside subtle chalky minerality. On the palate, it is crisp, dry, and lively, with bright acidity, saline depth, and a long, precise finish. A superb match for raw fish, seafood, carpaccio, Asian cuisine, or refined tapas.
