Louis Roederer Brut Nature 2015 by Starck is a radical, precise and uncompromising zero-dosage champagne that captures the pure essence of the Cumières terroir in the Marne Valley. Created in collaboration with designer Philippe Starck, this cuvée combines minimalist aesthetics with powerful expression. It is crafted from a blend of 46% Chardonnay for elegance and structure, 37% Pinot Noir for depth and intensity, and 17% Meunier for smooth texture. The grapes come exclusively from the sun-exposed south-facing slopes of Cumières with clay-limestone soils, imparting mineral and saline character. Twenty-three percent of the wines were aged in oak without malolactic fermentation to preserve natural tension and freshness. The hot and dry 2015 vintage was balanced by crucial August rains, delivering concentration with vibrant acidity. In the glass, the champagne displays a bright golden colour with fine bubbles. The nose reveals citrus, chalk, brioche and a subtle marine note. On the palate, it is crisp, mineral-driven and pure, with lively acidity and a long, refined finish. A superb match for oysters, seafood, ceviche or fine dining.
