Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle No. 26 is a benchmark prestige cuvée and one of the most refined expressions of modern Champagne craftsmanship. Since 1959, Laurent-Perrier has pursued a unique philosophy for Grand Siècle: rather than relying on a single vintage, it blends several exceptional years to achieve perfect harmony, complexity, and longevity. No. 26 is a symphonic blend of 65% 2012, 25% 2008, and 10% 2007, sourced from eight Grand Cru vineyards, composed of 58% Chardonnay and 42% Pinot Noir. It spent ten years on the lees, was disgorged in February 2023, and carries a dosage of 7 g/L. In the glass, it shines with a pale green-gold hue and a fine, persistent mousse. The nose is intricately layered with aromas of fresh and dried ginger, subtle pie crust, tarte tatin, nutmeg, salted caramel, toasted bread, mango, apple, and lime zest. On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied yet exceptionally fresh, vibrant, and mineral-driven, with notes of ripe pineapple, white orchard fruit, and a precise, energetic acidity. The long, citrus-bright finish makes this a spectacular Champagne to drink now or cellar for further development.
