Krug Grande Cuvée 170ème Édition Magnum 1.5 L is the prestigious large-format version of Krug’s iconic non-vintage Champagne from Reims. Built around the 2014 harvest, this edition blends around 195 individual wines from 12 vintages, composed of 51 % Pinot Noir, 38 % Chardonnay and 11 % Meunier. It shows a bright pale gold colour with fine, lively bubbles. The nose offers floral notes, ripe citrus fruit, marzipan and hints of gingerbread alongside brioche and toasted nuances. On the palate, it is rich and layered with flavours of hazelnut, nougat, barley sugar, almond, citrus and honey, balanced by elegant freshness. The magnum format supports slower, more even ageing, enhancing depth and complexity and making this champagne ideal for celebrations, refined aperitifs, and pairings with seafood, aged cheese or elegant desserts.
