Description

Kiyokawa 3 Years Old 2023 Tsuchi 50cl is a single cask single malt from Kiyokawa Distillery in Iiyama, Nagano, distilled in March 2023 from the distillery's own organic barley grown on site and local mountain spring water, and it is the distillery's first release matured in a first fill Oloroso sherry cask. Bottled in September 2026 at a natural cask strength of 64% ABV without chill filtration, it is limited to 290 bottles; its name means earth or soil in Japanese, and the label shows the distillery at harvest time. The nose shows roasted nuts, raisin, chocolate and dried fig; the palate brings fruit, light oak, peach and spice, and the finish turns to red fruit, gingerbread and cherry.
