Johnnie Walker Black Ruby is the newest permanent addition to the Johnnie Walker Black Label family, launched worldwide in March 2025 as the first innovation blend from Master Blender Dr Emma Walker. Built around malt whisky from Diageo's Roseisle distillery, it is matured across red wine, Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks alongside ex bourbon barrels, giving the blend its fruit driven character. Expect raspberry jam, blackberry pie and honeyed sweetness on the nose, with figs, plums and maraschino cherry carrying through to a palate lifted by a hint of spice and delicate smoke. It marks a confident evolution of one of Scotch whisky's most recognised names.
